Police Chief Robert Schurr
Chief Schurr started his career with the North Coventry Township Police Department on November 8, 1990. Chief Schurr attended and graduated from the Montgomery County Municipal Police Academy and the Cape May County Police Academy in Cape May New Jersey. Prior to his employment with North Coventry Townshiip, Chief Schurr served as a Class II Police Officer in Avalon, New Jersey. Chief Schurr served in the capacity of Detective from 1994 through February of 1997 when he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. On August 12, 2002 Chief Schurr was appointed to the position of Chief of Police by the North Coventry Township Board of Supervisor's. Chief Schurr has an Associate of Arts Degree from Bucks County Community College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Alvernia College in Reading, Pennsylvania and a Masters Degree from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Chief Schurr is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy 223rd Session.
